Jag Restaurant Dubai

We went to this restaurant last night, I read the reviews before going and I have to say are quite accurate for what I saw but our experience was a bit different. First thing the not so strong point is the main dishes, we ordered Tursh Govurma Plov that is nothing extraordinary to say the least.Now the high points: Our waiter was a guy called Ercan from Turkey. He took the time to talk to us about Azerbaijan culture, dishes, tea and more. Incredibly funny and respectful and knew every detail of the dishes, teas, drinks, etc.The Azerbaijan tea is amazingly good and also the bread. The Dushbara soup is also incredible and worth trying, very tasteful.Last but not least, the dessert was also great, I can't recall the name but it was fruits with a sugary siroup, very very good.There is one plov that we couldn't try cause you have to order it 5hs in advance. We are coming back for that one when we have the chance.

Best Turkish sweet place amazing Azerbaijan 🇦🇿 food

The ambience is nice. I was disappointed that in restaurant they use mayonnaise from pack, not cooked by them. It’s so easy to make self made mayonnaise and so healthy than to use the one from grocery store

Delicious and authentic Azerbaijani and Turkish food. Feels like home. Most definitely, one of my favorite places to go when I miss home.

One of the best rice dishes in Dubai. If you want to indulge once in 2020 then go for their Shah Plov with chestnuts, melt in the mouth lamb and fragrant saffron rice all covered in crispy buttered bread. Accompanied by good service it's not an experience to be missed

Hands down the most tasty and best place to eat in Dubai. Everything is fresh made and feels like you’re eating homemade food. If you yet haven’t visited them then you’re missing out on something unreal! Always eat there at least once a week😍👌🏻

Was missing Baku and found this gem. Just like what we had in Baku at reasonable prices for Dubai

Very disappointing. I don't even know how they call themselves a "restaurant".We were really hungry, and so we saw them there and we went inside. First, the food took FOREVER to get it to our table, including the Salad. Then when the food had finally came... the chicken was NOT WELL DONE!!!I asked them to take it back to the kitchen and saute/grill/cook it more! They take it for 3-5min and they bring it back and its only HOTTER.At that point I really wanted to talk to the chef and tell him how do you cook chicken.It was juicy, under cooked and weird. As if it was frozen and then they re-melted it!Unfortunately... we asked for our bill right away and we left the place WITHOUT EATING.The seating area is nice.

I never regret my money wasted as i felt while eating at this restaurant 0 taste dish cost 80 AED have exact same amount of meat as of inside 4 AED Shawarma Anything you see on pictures just divide it by 10 times and that’s what you gonna get served in real Please don’t throw your hard earn money to this resturant and comes out with a regret

Such a shame this place is hidden on a nowadays sad looking BoxPark... the place is great. Awesome Azerbaijani/Turkish cuisine with generous portions and not a crazy expensive price at all. Place is really nice and you can even enjoy the sunset after a late lunch. Definitely worthy of a try!
